Hi! I’m Rachel, your PCOS Health and Wellness Coach and facilitator of Empowered Living with PCOS
I created this virtual workshop to bring you what I wish I had when I was diagnosed with PCOS. When I was scared and didn’t know how to take care of myself. I tried a million supplements, bought into platforms that only perpetuated my disordered eating habits from the past, and felt isolated. It took me YEARS to figure out what to do, and I want to help you learn from my mistakes through this workshop.
I researched like crazy, and then learned that even knowing what you want to change is still not enough…
In the frenzy of research, and in my practice as a Health Coach, I realized that knowing what to do wasn’t enough. Changing your behavior is HARD. Especially when you’re living with a ‘mystery’ chronic condition and can’t predict your good or bad days.
How this workshop helps…
I’ve created this workshop based on what will help you restore your confidence and motivation to change. We’ll fill knowledge gaps while teaching you how to create sustainable, lasting change that doesn’t make you feel punished or isolated.

What is this workshop exactly?
This isn't your typical PCOS course. It's an immersive workshop designed to empower you to build the PCOS lifestyle that works for you. We created this workshop alongside experts, drawing on lived experience, client testimonials, and research-backed principles of change.
This workshop is designed to be done asynchronously or via live sessions.
This workshop meets you where you are, creating an environment for you to identify what's right for you in this moment. We'll walk you through actionable frameworks to help you explore what works for your body, resources and priorities.

Trying to learn about your PCOS through social media is exhausting and confusing. We'll boil down what you should have been told when you were diagnosed, dispel common myths, and help you see that you have more power than you think you do.

Today we let go of the shame. Living with a chronic condition means goal setting will look different. We'll teach you how to overcome common motivation blockers and focus on the right next step in front of you.

Reconnect with Your Body
Day 3

You don’t have to outsource knowing what's right for you to strangers. We'll teach you how to restore trust and connection with your body so you can honor its intuition, knowing what foods love you back, and what kind of movement feels good.

Caring for Your Mental Health with PCOS
Day 4

We eat, sleep and breathe the impact PCOS has on our mental health every day. We'll take you through tactical exercises that will teach you to build stress resilience, a healthy relationship with yourself, and a strong support system.

Sustainable Nutrition for PCOS

Check your self-blame at the door. There are valid reasons why nutrition changes are HARD with PCOS. We'll talk about those obstacles, and teach you tactical ways to overcome them. Plus, we'll help you simplify the way you think about nutrition for PCOS.

Rachel operates according to the principles in which she was trained, to employ evidence-based techniques for behavior change. Rachel has been trained according to principles and techniques that draw on behavioral psychology, motivational interviewing, and models of change to help her clients develop new habits and make lasting lifestyle changes. Rachel’s role as a health coach is to help you connect to your strengths, values, and abilities, so that you can make effective changes.

In addition to the content throughout the workshop, you will have access to a Q&A with a PCOS + Hormone RDN/LDN, and a Q&A with a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
All sessions will be led/facilitated by PCOS Health and Wellness coach, Rachel Ruha. She will assist with check-ins in your cohort group chat and be available for periodic questions until April 19, 2024.

Your homework is up to you! Transformation will come from the work you put into practice in your day to day life outside of the course, based on your time, resources, and priorities. You will get out of this course what you put into it!
